Join us for an unparalleled performance and cultural tour to Peru, taking flight from Calgary in summer 2026!

Discover Lima: A Cosmopolitan Capital

Lima, Peru’s capital, is a vibrant city of 10 million people, blending diverse cultural influences from South American indigenous peoples, African culture, Japanese immigrants, and more. With its rich history and modern lifestyle, Lima will be our home base for the first portion of the tour, with exciting day trips to surrounding cities.

Artistic Highlights:

• Performances: Present multiple shows in Lima, a city enthusiastic about live performing arts.
• School Partnerships: Engage with students from various backgrounds in private and rural schools.
• Dance Workshops: Expand your dance knowledge with workshops in Afro-Peruvian dance styles.

Cultural Highlights:

• Culinary Delights: Taste the best food in the world with Lima being home to 4 of the world’s top 5-rated restaurants.
• Paso Horse Show: Witness the elegance of horses dancing the Marinera, Peru’s national dance.
• Paracas Nature Reserve: Explore where the desert meets the ocean, home to sea lions, seabirds, and even penguins!
• Huacachina Oasis: Experience an overnight stay at a lush oasis surrounded by desert dunes.
• Historical Exploration: Visit the ancient ruins of Huaca Pucllana, dating back over 1600 years.
• Shopping and Sightseeing: Plenty of time to shop, sightsee, and make lasting memories with friends.

The Ultimate Bucket List Experience: Machu Picchu!

Stay for an additional 4 days in an optional add-on excursion to Cusco and Machu Picchu. Explore the Incan fortress, discover the Sacred Valley, and stay overnight in Aguas Calientes, a quaint town at the base of Machu Picchu. Please note the altitude considerations and acclimatization needed.

Safety and Security

Our tour includes well-established tourist centers and activities partnered with local experts and artists. We’re teaming up with MCM Arts (formerly Culture Path), a Canadian company with over 35 years of experience in international tours, ensuring safety is the top priority.

MCM Arts specializes in performing arts tours for high school and university students, crafting itineraries with artistic highlights, cultural exploration, and educational opportunities tailored for North American students.

Who Can Tour?

The 2026 Peru Tour is open to all singers registered in SENIOR HI, ACT3, SHINE, ONCUE, or ENCORE for the 2025-2026 season.

Singers in grade 9 in the 2025-2026 season can move up to SENIOR HI early to join the tour. Family members and the broader Youth Singers community are welcome to register as travelers and experience the journey YSC style!

Dates and Cost

The singer cost will be around $6000-8000. Registration opens this August, with the final cost and dates available at that time.

Early-bird pricing available!

Tour registration is open from August 2024 to October 2025. Bingo credits earned now can be applied to the 2026 tour.
