David has studied piano since age 6, taught piano since age 11, and has been involved in many piano competitions, played for several choirs, dance companies, churches, hotels, and other venues. He joined the Youth Singers of Calgary as an accompanist and track producer in 1992, then moved to California to continue with music in a similar capacity for another decade. After returning to Calgary in 2010, he has continued his involvement with the Youth Singers of Calgary now as a past director of ENCORE and currently an accompanist for ACT3 and the principal accompanist of the company. David’s day job is as a database administrator.
