Reid has been connected to Youth Singers in various capacities since 1996. He initially joined as a performer, and then joined the staff as a music arranger and composer, and a director in various Divisions. He served in YSC leadership roles for 10 years. He is a former director of ONCUE and produced three ONCUE recorded albums. Reid currently works as a Music Arranger for Youth Singers. He is married to Beth McLean Wiest, who performed and worked with YSC since its inception until 2009. Together, they have three children, and they have also started a new young adult choir called “Harmony Through Harmony”, which seeks to build community, develop leaders, and promote justice through music. Reid’s day job is as a family doctor in NW Calgary.
