Ernie and his wife Tracey have been active volunteers with the Youth Singers of Calgary for over 20 years.  Their two children began with Kids and Music and remained enthusiastic members through Act 3 and the Shine Collective.  He and his wife joined our Second Chants division starting in the fall of 2023, which gave him a strong appreciation for the talents of our singers and dedication of the YSC staff. Ernie has been a Director on the Board since 2013 before assuming the Board Chair position in January 2023.  Ernie graduated from the University of Waterloo with a BASc in Systems Design Engineering and has led teams locally, nationally and internationally in building a range of communication networks. He currently leads the Canadian Customer Delivery team for the Network Infrastructure division of Nokia.
