(She/her) Lauren has been a member of the Youth Singers of Calgary for over 20 years, both as a performer and as a choreographer. Over the years she has held positions on the artistic staff for many divisions including KIDAZZLE, KIDZXPRESS, SHINE, SECOND CHANTS and Gleek Out! Summer Camps (now SHOWBIZ KIDS), as well as guest choreographer for JUNIOR HI, SENIOR HI and ACT3. Youth Singers has helped foster her love for performance and working with youth led her to pursue the arts professionally. Her choreography experience expands from community to professional groups, including Storybook Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Lunchbox Theatre and Forte Musical Theatre Guild as well as multiple schools, summer programs, and arts groups around the city, and she continues to explore any opportunity to work with creative and talented artists. Lauren is a strong believer that the arts teach us more than just how to sing and dance, but also life skills that we take into our adult lives and she will continue to work with and be inspired by these young performers.
