(She/her) Lauren has been a member of the Youth Singers of Calgary for over 20 years, both as a performer and as a choreographer. Over the years she has held positions on staff for many divisions including KIDAZZLE, KIDZXPRESS, SHINE, SECOND CHANTS and Gleek Out! Summer Camps, as well as guest choreographing for JUNIOR HI, SENIOR HI and ACT3. Youth Singers has helped foster her love for performance and working with youth and has led her to pursue the arts professionally. Her choreography experience expands from community to professional groups, including Storybook Theatre, Theatre Calgary, Lunchbox Theatre and Forte Musical Theatre Guild as well as multiple schools, summer programs, and arts groups around the city. Lauren graduated from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary with a degree in Tourism Management and Marketing, and continues to work as a marketing professional in Calgary. Lauren is a strong believer that the arts teach us more than just how to sing and dance, but life skills that we take into our adult lives and she will continue to work with and be inspired by these young performers.
